As soon as you step out of the S. Giovanni station in Como, you will see a big hand welcoming you to Como!
Just walk straight along this continent and you will reach the city center!
If you go down this road, you will reach the Como Cathedral-Duomo.
Speaking of Duomo, it is the most important attraction in Como. It has a long history and is of special significance in the art history of architecture.
The cathedral was built in 1396 and was completed in different stages of the three and a half centuries; the dome of the church was completed in 1744. This dome is very special. It is an articulated and complex building structure that integrates space and Different styles of expressions merge into one. Although the cathedral has been built for a long time, it has maintained harmony. For example, the facade and the Gothic nave can be traced back to the 15th century. The Presbyterian Church and the side nave can be traced back to the 16th century. The dome of the church dates back to the 17th century.

In the cathedral, unlike the previous cathedral, there are many precious tapestries and sculptures in Como Cathedral as well as Romanesque lions and high altars with Gothic reliefs of 1317 white marble, sarcophagus of the Bishop of Law († 1293 ) And Bonifacio da Modena († 1352); the most important are the Renaissance carved and original painted altars, three of them by Tommaso Rodari and Sant'Abbondio The altar and crucifix of Piose sculptor Giovan Angelo del Maino, and the baroque altar of Madonna of Gerolamo Quadrio surround Tommaso Rodari.
The center of Como is actually very small. There are a lot of small alleys, which connect the city from one part to another, you may finish the city tour in less than an hour or two.
If you want to go shopping, you can go to Via Vittorio Emanuele, this street is the most commercial street in Como.
The most important thing to come to Como is to see the lake view. The endless lake view can be seen from the center of Como city. If there is only one day trip, I still recommend you take a boat trip to see the beauty Landscape and lake view.
Part of the ferry ticket depends on which areas you want to go to and how many trips you want to make.

If you want to go to the second zone,

# 2 Cernobbio
Cernobbio is a lovely town belonging to the first district and my favorite town. Usually, the passengers who board the boat will disembark at this stop for sightseeing, because it is the nearest town to Como.
When sightseeing in Cernobbio, many people choose a restaurant with a lake view as a place to rest and relax. I would like to recommend a restaurant that I personally visit more often.
I would recommend this because it has local dishes and fresh Lake Como fish.

Moltrasio is already the second district of Lake Como, so if you want to visit here, remember to buy the second district ticket!
The only purpose I came here is for this restaurant (after all, I'm a foodie !!! hahaha)
This restaurant was recommended by all my Como friends, and they grew up praising this restaurant. Later, at a chance that a Taiwanese friend came to Italy to visit me, I finally managed to book this Como restaurant that I dreamed of.
